We were operators who lived inside the maze.
Two years. One eSIM product. A telecom lawyer, three GSMA memberships, and more bilateral agreements than any startup should ever touch. That was the cost of launching a single consumer eSIM brand from scratch.
The industry is built for MNOs. Every API is documented for people who already know the acronyms. Every operations portal assumes you have a team of BSS/OSS engineers. If you are an MVNO, an integrator, or a developer trying to build something on top of connectivity infrastructure — you are on your own.
Carrier is the API we wished existed. One auth token. Plain-English tooling via Model Context Protocol. The full eSIMVault OCS surface — 103 type-safe tools, 450+ networks — without any of the ceremony.
Structure
Carrier is operated by Lifecycle Innovations Limited, a technology company registered in Hong Kong. LIL is part of the Aurora group — the same operator background that produced Bridge4IP (upstream connectivity partner) and eSIMVault OCS (the billing core that Carrier wraps).
We are not a neutral third-party aggregator. We have upstream relationships with the infrastructure we expose. That means faster incident resolution, direct schema access, and no middleman markup on the rails.
Mission
Make programmable global connectivity as simple as a Stripe API call. Anyone who can write a prompt or call an HTTP endpoint should be able to build a telecom product without a lawyer on retainer.
